The JOB EFFECTIVENESS ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM (JEEP) is a collaboration between Professor Reuven BarOn (Star Performer Profiling) www.ReuvenBarOn.org and Dorothy Spry Training Award Winner of Career Performance (Training & Development).

HOW DOES JEEP WORK?

      STAGE 1:- STAR PERFORMER PROFILING
          
  1. The occupational performance level of each participant who participates in the Job Effectiveness Enhancement Program are rated on a 3-point rating scale (1= below average performance, 2=average performance, 3="star performer" performance) by his or her immediate supervisor before and after receiving group training and individual coaching in the proposed program.
  2. The participants then undergo emotional intelligence assessment (by completing the EQ-i) prior to beginning training and coaching in the Job Effectiveness Enhancement Program.  Other Assessments such as those that measure business integrity can also be incorporated into JEEP.
  3. Multivariate statistics are then applied to the data to examine the degree of impact of the participants' emotional intelligence (assessed by the EQ-i) on their daily occupational performance (rated by the participants' advisors), which creates a Star Performer Profile of the participants and an EI Model that predicts high performance.
  4. Based on the Star Performer Profile and EI Model of high performers. An organisation can then begin hiring and promoting prospective employees who best match the model.
  5. In addition to other factors related to specific job skills, a customized effectiveness enhancement program will be created based on the Star Performer Profile and EI Model of high performance that emerges from this process (procedures #1 to # 3 above). This will include workshops which focus on the most powerful EI (emotional intelligence) predictors of high performance in your unique organisation.
 STAGE 2: TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
  1. A series of workshops will be run by Career Performance which explains why these EI factors are important and a number of interactive activities will be designed in order to strengthen them. 

    Additionally, the participants will receive personal feedback on their level of emotional intelligence and job skills.   Specific recommendations will be made regarding which factors and skills they should improve and the best way of doing that. A developmental action plan will be put in place.

    The workshops participants will also receive online access to an Internet-based training program designed to further reinforce the relevant emotional intelligence skills. 

    Post workshops support is also available.
STAGE 3: EVALUATION POST -  JOB EFFECTIVENESS ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM JEEP
  1. Based on various different parameters and indicators, the pre- and post-intervention levels of organisational effectiveness and productivity (before and after the implementation of the Job Effectiveness Enhancement Program will be compared one year following completion of the program to examine the extent of progress achieved based on its implementation.
  2. The extent of improvement in emotional intelligence, job skills and organisational productivity will be presented to the organisation.   Research into EI Star Performers, the business case and return on investment (ROI).  Please click here.
