Career Performance offers Career and Personal Development Services. The services we offer focus on raising self-awareness in individuals. Career Performance is owned by Dorothy Spry (right) B.Sc (Hons), Dip.CG, MICG, MDOP, FRSA a Business Psychologist. She is co-author of The Management Psychometric Testing Pocketbook

Dorothy Spry is a UK-based business psychologist who works worldwide with a wide variety of clients in both the public and private sectors. She became a member of the British Psychological Society after receiving her B.Sc degree with Honours in Psychology and is also a Nominated Fellow in the Royal Society of Arts for her contribution in helping others. Dorothy went on to specialise in Health and Applied Psychology and was awarded an M.Sc degree in Health Psychology. She is presently completing work toward receiving Royal Chartership in Great Britain as an occupational and industrial psychologist.

Dorothy is licensed to use over 40 psychometric instruments. Additionally, Dorothy has been qualified in Career Counseling, Performance Coaching as well as in Health and Occupational Psychology. In addition to teaching "Career Guidance Skills" at the University of Buckingham and at the University of East London, she has created and taught the following courses that are specifically related to emotional intelligence: "Emotional Intelligence and Careers" at the University of East London and at the University of Bedfordshire, "Emotional Intelligence and Cultural Differences" at the University of Buckingham, and "Introduction to Emotional Intelligence" at the University of Leeds and at the University of Manchester.

Dorothy is also a career guidance skills assessor and works in the UK and in other countries, where she runs and designs programmes in this specific area. She is also a foundation trainer for the Eysenck Cook Cripps Occupational Scales (ECCOS) and has worked closely with Dr Barry Cripps who is the senior co-developer of this personality test. Together with Dr Cripps, Dorothy co-authored "The Psychometric Testing Pocketbook" (2008), which is written especially for individuals who are not psychologists or psychometricians working in the corporate world. She lectures in Europe, North American and the Middle East on her various areas of expertise.

Dorothy founded Career Performance which is a consultancy that provides a number of key HR/OD services including online psychometric testing, career counseling, customer loyalty training, team and leadership development, and the application of EI designed to increase occupational effectiveness and organisational productivity. She is an MHS-accredited trainer who licenses others in the use of EI measures including the Bar-On EQ-i and EQ-360. Dorothy runs training and accreditation workshops designed to license EI test users worldwide and has trained and licensed hundreds of practitioners to date. She presently works in collaboration with Prof Reuven Bar-On in the application of EI and Star Performer Profiling, Coaching, Training & Development in a variety of corporate, healthcare and educational settings in Europe and North America.

Dorothy is a 2007 National Training Award winner of the UK's premier award for training and development.
